Atomic Purple Steam Deck Button Set

Copper set turned out great with a little DIY.

0000 Steel wool on front surfaces to expose copper, sharp tweezers to scrape in the nooks and crannies to expose the copper there. Submerged in liver of sulfur/hot water solution (mix according to bottle instructions) for 1 minute to get dark patina, neutralized in water/baking soda mix. 0000 steel wool to bring out bright contrast.

Stopped there to see how it looked in the case, but will continue to do light steel wool to even out the finish and may do some light polishing with mothers mag and aluminum.

Amazing, they fit really well feel amazing and are relatively easy to install. Just making sure you take pictures and put the screws back in there correct place

The texture feels good, and the material makes the button feel sturdy. Definitely great to use with clicky buttons; they complement each other in terms of tactile feedback.

Installation is on the easier side of things you can tinker your Steam Deck with, since it doesn't involve paste or soldering. Make sure to keep track of your screws!
