Very happy with the feel and quality of the buttons, love that the menu and steam buttons are raised further then the stock buttons so that it is easier to use them.

When I discovered this button, I couldn't resist buying it!
Polishing without tools was hard work, but it made my steam deck more beautiful.

Gives the deck that whole dark academia vibe with the browns and brass. Easy to buff up with the steel wool, simple to install and looks great.

Now all we need is the touch pads, triggers and back buttons in the same material....

While considering the parts to adding or exchange during my Steam Deck's full shell swap, I hesitated about these buttons the most- they would be the priciest piece I was adding in, and were basically for cosmetic purposes only!

However, even though these buttons are probably the visual star of my build (I've gotten many compliments on the premium look of these buttons as I've shared pictures) rest assured that these do more than just look fabulous- they're a marked improvement in feel, too. I thought they'd be rubbery from the picture, but they're not. They feel a bit matte and are slightly textured- the overall feel is incredibly high-quality. The raised glyphs are also appreciated- it's easy to tell the buttons by feel if you're playing in the dark.

These buttons are definitely worth the investment if you've been on the fence because of the price. I'm really glad I picked these up and if I swap out buttons in a future project, I'll be coming to deckbuttons.com first!

I'm disappointed in myself for not buying these buttons sooner. I first saw them in an old "Wulff Den" YouTube video, but I was hesitant to buy because I've never modded anything before. The install guide that came with the buttons, along with a kit from iFixit, was all I needed. The new buttons look fantastic and give the Steamdeck a great touch of individuality. I'll likely purchase more in the future to mix up the button colors. Oh, and the kindly worded handwritten note was a nice touch, too.

I love the buttons. A real eye-catcher! Will brush the brass variant for the perfect metal look.

These buttons did have to be polished for the look I was going for, but that allows people to dial it in exactly how they want it.

Extremely happy with these buttons, the color shift in person is stunning and the texture on them feels great. I cant recommend them enough and if your on the fence about them i would highly suggest pulling the trigger. You wont be disappointed

If you have the bubblegum Dbrand skin these buttons make that sucker pop like no tomorrow. Absolutely great quality to boot

I just wanna say that these pink holographic buttons are the prettiest buttons ever I’m obsessed with them. It makes my steam deck so cute. My husband tried to surprise me with it, but ordered me the regular holographic ones but I reached out and asked if I could just switch them out and he responded very quickly and was very kind. The buttons are amazing. I would 100% buy button buttons again when or if I want to replace them again

I love the way these look with the holo and also the shiny bits inside. They also have a much nicer feel to the plastic, it’s a bit more textured than the stock shiny buttons.

Copper set turned out great with a little DIY.

0000 Steel wool on front surfaces to expose copper, sharp tweezers to scrape in the nooks and crannies to expose the copper there. Submerged in liver of sulfur/hot water solution (mix according to bottle instructions) for 1 minute to get dark patina, neutralized in water/baking soda mix. 0000 steel wool to bring out bright contrast.

Stopped there to see how it looked in the case, but will continue to do light steel wool to even out the finish and may do some light polishing with mothers mag and aluminum.
