Due to the handmade nature of our products, please allow for some slight color variation between images online and finished product. Your buttons may look different depending on lighting environment etc. Transparent buttons tend to darken slightly once installed.
I bought these buttons not so much for aesthetic purposes, but because i found the original Steam Deck OLED face buttons to be too much loose and "slippery" and it was affecting my experience with the Steam Deck.
The quality of the buttons was higher than i expected (and i had read a lot of positive reviews) and i feel in love with the "party" details of the buttons when i received them; it looks so good on my Steam Deck, and as expected it improved my experience by having face buttons that have better feedback and are no longer loose.
I didn't install the Dpad, since i prefer the original one, but the buttons are really worth the price and i can't stop recommending them to anyone who have a Steam Deck.
I was a happy owner of Party Black v1.0. I picked up v2.0 because I couldn't resist. In the pictures, 1.0 is still installed in the deck and 2.0 is sitting on top for comparison. 2.0 looks fantastic! This new technique is definitely an aesthetic upgrade for the Party series. The iridescent glitter is poppy, glowy, fiery, and bright, and it absolutely gleams out of the black background. And of course, the tactile experience is spot on. Button rattle from loose stock buttons is completely gone and the matte texture feels great during play. (And in my order notes, when I rejoiced over more glitter, more party, more pop, the guys at Deck Buttons send me cheeky little baggies of each. Their great attitude is a big part of why I came back for more.)
I got these because currently Deck Buttons has no pure black alternative. I don’t particularly like the design, but they were on sale. The buttons feel great, way better than the stock buttons, especially the DMG D-pad and when paired with the clicky modification. I’m very impressed with the quality, I see zero imperfections.
If you have any experience building a computer, you can 100% do this button mod - buttons all feel great, look great, and give a personal touch to my deck, which I love. Easy buy if you have a SD.
I have purchased heaps of buttons over the years but this is the first time I have ordered from DeckButtons. They are the best I have ever had! Easy to install, and after a couple of days they feel phenomenal. I only wish I purchased more. Customer service also 10/10! I am ordering from Australia the shipping was also 10/10. Overall I couldn’t recommend them more!
The party black buttons looks fantastic and the subtle texture to the buttons makes a bigger difference than I thought it would. The raised menu buttons also make it easier to find when you're playing in the dark!
I love the design of these because they’re black like the original buttons, but have secret sparkles in them so it’s cool in a subtle way. This was such an easy upgrade that I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. It allows you to customize your ‘Deck without having to be nervous about doing any major damage to it.
These buttons are awesome. Not only do they look great, but feel better than stock.
They were exactly as advertised and excellent quality. The raised menu and options buttons are a godsend. My only wish is that there were even more party flecks since they don't all catch the light all the time like in the pictures
