I've used ExtremeRate's custom clear red buttons before getting these, and I can say for sure that these from DeckButtons are of much higher quality than those custom buttons from ExtremeRate. Also, while it doesn't affect anything, I loved how there were these cool logos and stuff engraved on the back of these buttons, making it feel very premium.
Also, there were no burrs that I needed to file off before I can use them as the ExtremeRate ones did.
Overall great quality premium product. I will say that the quality of these buttons does justify their pretty steep price.
Excellent product! The guy making these goes above and beyond with production, large emphasis on "getting things right" and "doing things the right way". That mantra is evident in his products, as the buttons feel great and the tutorial provided is very in depth.
I’ve installed aftermarket buttons on several different devices and have almost always needed a little sanding here or there to ensure a smooth press every time. This was not the case with these red steam deck buttons. They slotted in perfectly without any difficulty, and combined with the quality materials and molding make for a great overall feel when in use.
